Therapy

Therapy is a space to explore patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be holding you back. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may include talk therapy, experiential exercises, mindfulness, EMDR, or parts-based work.

Common Areas of Focus

  • Anxiety
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Life Transitions
  • Burnout and compassion fatigue
  • Identity exploration
  • Relationship challenges
  • Individual sessions

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and work through what’s weighing on you—whether that’s anxiety, trauma, burnout, identity questions, or major life transitions. Our work is collaborative and tailored to your needs, blending evidence-based practices with mindfulness, parts-informed, and experiential approaches. The goal is not to “fix” you, but to help you understand yourself more fully and move toward meaningful change.

This is likely a good fit if you:

  • Are an adult seeking space to explore emotions, patterns, or life experiences
  • Want a collaborative, reflective therapy process
  • Are open to integrative or experiential approaches alongside talk therapy
  • Are navigating stress, trauma, identity questions, or transitions

This may not be the best fit if you:

  • Are seeking quick advice or directive problem-solving only
  • Want a highly manualized or protocol-only approach
  • Are looking for crisis or emergency services (appropriate referrals can be provided)

Teen Therapy (Ages 14+)

Teen therapy supports adolescents navigating identity development, emotional regulation, stress, relationships, and the pressures of school, family, and social systems. Sessions are developmentally appropriate, affirming, and grounded in consent and collaboration. I work to create a space where teens feel heard and respected, while also partnering with caregivers as appropriate to support safety, growth, and connection.

This is likely a good fit if the teen:

  • Is 14 or older and open to having a space of their own
  • Is navigating stress, anxiety, identity questions, or emotional overwhelm
  • Benefits from a collaborative, respectful therapeutic relationship

Has caregivers willing to support the process as needed

  • This may not be the best fit if:
  • The teen is unwilling to participate at any level
  • Therapy is being used primarily as punishment or control
  • Intensive crisis services or higher levels of care are currently needed

Couples Therapy

Including Polycule & Non-Monogamous Relationships

Relationship therapy is for people who want to strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and better understand relational patterns—together. I work with couples and polycules, including consensually non-monogamous and queer relationships, using an affirming, non-pathologizing approach. Sessions focus on consent, boundaries, attachment, power dynamics, and shared meaning, while honoring the unique structure and values of each relationship system.

This is likely a good fit if you are:

  • A couple or polycule seeking better communication and connection
  • Navigating conflict, transitions, or changes in relationship structure
  • Interested in an affirming approach to non-monogamy and queer relationships
  • Open to examining patterns, roles, and power dynamics within the system

This may not be the best fit if:

  • One or more partners is unwilling to participate in the process
  • Therapy is being used to coerce agreement or assign blame
  • There is ongoing, unaddressed abuse that makes joint sessions unsafe

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach to processing trauma and distressing experiences that may still be affecting you in the present. EMDR helps the nervous system reprocess stuck or overwhelming memories in a way that supports healing and integration. I use EMDR in a paced, parts-informed, and consent-based way, adapting the process to meet your individual needs and readiness.

This is likely a good fit if you:

  • Are experiencing lingering effects of trauma or distressing events
  • Feel “stuck” in patterns tied to past experiences
  • Are interested in trauma processing beyond talk therapy alone
  • Want an approach that respects pacing, consent, and nervous system safety

This may not be the best fit if you:

  • Are currently in an acute crisis requiring stabilization first
  • Prefer exclusively conversational therapy
  • Are not interested in memory-focused or experiential work at this time
